That is how I have kept my fabric yurt mold free...via not overinsulating and keeping windows open as frequently as possible. I also have my bathroom/shower outside. But a hard walled yurt doesnt...

That is the idea. To install the snow and wind kit and real windows, add insulation and 1/4 inch drywall over that. Still feel concerned about moldy lattice and canvas behind the insulation.

Can you elaborate on how you would over insulate? And if you dont mind giving your opinion on the top reasons you have seen (or heard) yurts go moldy, I'd love to hear them...

My first question (I am sure there will be many others) is about our platform deck. It sits 1 ft off the ground and insulation was attached to the underneath....
