Yurts can be very portable or permanent depending on how much other things you add. Electric water sewer exc. Depending on the size of your yurt you can move one in a manor of hours or a day or two...

If you go with higher efficacy model you go with a pvc flue this would be safer and you wouldn't have to worry about burning anything.

An 18 ft pool cover fits nice on a 16 ft yurt and you can buy them insulated for a little over 100 bucks.

Chris you could do like I do check dumpsters on job sites you would be surprised what they throw away. Couple 2x4 or2x6 and a drill guide and a table saw.could cut everything you need.

Yes bit I made a lot of changes to the design to make it stronger.I also did some test like having the yurt set up without the wall covers on to find out how I could keep the roof cover from coming...

I was thinking gorilla glue works good with water.glue soaks into wood pours and helps it bond so making the wood wet makes it bend easier and also helps the glue to bond better. That's what I have...

I covered my first 16foot yurt with 12oz cotton canvas 160 bucks. From tractor supply. Sewed the smoke hole by hand with a Palm sticker.
