Default design yurt after-build first

hi, wondering if anyone knows how hard it is to install doors and windows after the yurt has been put up. i will be getting a 24 or 28 foot yurt and know where i want one door but not the other or exactly where the windows will be going. or even where i want that one door to face. thinking if it isnt too much extra work do it after the deck is built and the yurt is up. also has anyone built a exterior mud room attached to there yurt? whats the best way to go about it. thank you

You can build the circular platform before deciding on window and door placement, but you will need to decide where the initial door will be located before assembling the yurt onto the platform. If you will be ordering fabric windows that are integrated into your side cover you will need to decide on the placement of those windows relative to the door location before you order the yurt. However, our glass window system can be installed wherever you wish, so you do not have to pre-determine where they will be placed.

If you decide to retrofit additional doors at a later date that can be done, but it is best to avoid installing them where existing fabric windows are located.

I hope this helps!

it does help thank you i am adding a yurt to my what is turning into a compound, to accommodate my growing family. i live in a retrofit c container now with a outdoor bathroom and will be adding the yurt for a kitchen dinning room and living room. the placement will be extremely important to function well with the existing buildings.
