Picked up the yurt from Hays and Vince at Shelter Designs this morning in Missoula. Great guys, glad i went with them. Back in Utah and ready for assembly next weekend.

Was finally able to get building.

To my surprise the pre built panels worked out perfect. I didn't pre build the last panel but low and behold it wound up being the exact same size. I couldn't...

Ive been contemplating the center piece. After panel assembly I think best will be to cut a 4' circle, center it and then scribe a line to cut the panel sheeting. Not sure yet.

Waiting my excavator to get to the property to do a little more dirt work before I start assembly.

I'll post pics and commets, tips etc.... once the assembly of the platform starts. May help...

Hopefully they all fit when they are assembled LOL. I don't know if I'll try putting it all together at home before hauling up the mountain or put 15 of them together at the build site and then...

Hierony, yes I have a 20' Shelter Designs on its way . It will require a 3/8 by about 14" plywood lip around the edge to bolt the bottom of the lattice to. Instruction say to go at least 6"...

Halfway done with the platform panels. 16 pie shaped pieces. After they are all done will still need to insuate with polyisocyanate insulation.
