That's just the kind of thing I am meaning, if you have a slab its the way to go. Why I have gravitated to the hybrid wood yurt, on a slab, insulated walls and roof, with masonry stove. Dome/tono...

I think that you'd be way ahead to do that. I have thought often of doing it by building up a good stone or brick 'wall' around a large iron stove, just to make more thermal mass . Somewhere the law...
