I appreciate your cost figures, it helps others for sure. I am looking at about half of my own building on it, and then buying the roof and wall covering. I still lean towards rug felt as I've found...

Google cordwood and stackpole construction for similar effects.

I have also seen spray on epoxy resins on table and bar tops, you had to be really careful on preventing dust settling in, they did...

I am glad that you can afford that !

Its higher then Colorado Yurts prices a 24' yurt w/extras for, at $ 10,290.

Thats one of the great things about yurts, there is one for everyones...

I do plan on doing most of the work myself, I have circular and chopsaws, a simple bench drillpress, and assorted battery drills. Plus lots of hand tools. I would expect $9,000 to build a small all...
