16' would be fine. If it is just for the summer it will light since you won't need wall studs and your rafters can be light. I would look at something like Groovy Yurts or some other such portable...

I have a 30' and all I can add to this is, you can't make a yurt any bigger once you buy it. So if it were me, size would be the most important factor.
