I had a hard time finding it until I had my local agent get it for me. I highly recommend you do that same thing. They are the experts at this stuff.

I just checked my policy and I pay $295 for the year for $25,000 value of the structure, $10,000 for personal property, $300,000 for personal liability. This basically covers everything except...

They never asked me anything about permitting and I saw nothing about it in the policy. Most camps in the ADK's are not permitted, so I can't imagine them having that clause in that kind of...

Talk to your local agent, they will be your best bet in finding a company. Midrox is the company that insured mine. Do they insure in Alaska? I have no idea, but your agent does.

OK, my agent Dawn came through and I have a yurt insurance policy in New York!!! They would not cover wind or snow load damage, but they cover fire ($25,000) and contents ($10,000) for $298/yr.
