I know, old post, but you bring up good ideas!

I was looking into a swimmimg pool liner! They are all over the free section of Craigslist every fall. And they're easy to repair if they rip. I believe theyre UV resistant. Take the solar cover and put it underneath for padding/insulation.

I'm going to go pick up a free one (20354) tomorrow. I think I can cut it out and glue it how I want it. Underneath Im hoping to use bubble wrap and space blankets for

insulation

, or that double bubble foil

insulation

for around duct work.

I covered my first 16foot yurt with 12oz cotton canvas 160 bucks. From tractor supply. Sewed the smoke hole by hand with a Palm sticker.
