Default yurt roof on inside out

I had our contractor erect the yurt and there has been a continual problem with water coming in. We thought it was the

dome

but after a year of battling the wet, mold etc, we just noticed that the rough side is facing in and the smooth side is facing out with the seams allowing water to run down and inside the yurt rather than down and away from the inside. I thought our yurt was a Colorado yurt but it doesn't look like it. ours is 20 ft wide and quite a steep roof.
Any suggestions as to what to do?

Smooth side is facing out? Umm, that's how it is supposed to be right? Hmm, can we see a pic maybe?

We got a used yurt and some of the seams were not great so we bought some paintable sealer from the hardware store's roofing dept and it's worked great.

Colorado Yurt's seams on a roof would be welded seams and would not leak even if it were inside out. Also, you wouldn't have been able to attach the roof - it would have been extremely obvious.

It's usually the contractors who bungle yurts the worst, lol! I think they are so commonly used to building stick-built structures that they don't read the instructions and just go on instinct, which causes all sorts of problems in a tension structure.

Remove the roof, flip it the right way. And please post some pics so we can help you figure out who made your yurt, you'll need to know sooner or later!
