Safe from what exactly?

My yurt is out there in the woods pretty deep, so my concern is keeping it safe from animals like bear. My #1 piece of advice is to be completely OCD about keeping the yurt clean when you leave. No garbage, sweep and/or vacuum, etc..

I purposely do not make it like fort knox. I don't want a burglar to cut the fabric, just punch out the window please. There isn't that much stuff in there worth anything so I would rather they not cause thousands of dollars of damage trying to get in.

Thanks again. Nothing to protect but want everyone to feel safe and comfortable and definitely don't want someone coming through the wall!
Good idea about keeping things OCD clean, wouldn't have thought about that.
