Yes, we did. We have two layers (1") of felt, house wrap, then untreated canvas. I don't think the vapour is getting to the house wrap before condensing and freezing. I actually wonder if we'd have less trouble if we only used one layer of felt, but then we'd be using more firewood. Life is loaded with compromises.
