Default Any yurts in Virginia

Hi - wondering if any of you yurt folks are in Virginia? Is there a way to see what state members reside in?
Thanks,
Kirsten in Buchanan

Yes we did. My husband and daughter went to Floyd before Floyd Fest to help set up yurts that are used there (and which they always sell after the festival at a discount, by the way) and then went and saw their 30" yurt at their site. They are waiting on us at this point, to get our slab poured...

Congrats! I hear they make fine yurts. Do us a favor and take some pics of the process and post them along with your thoughts of the experience here. I love to see and hear that stuff from peoples first hand perspective and I think it also helps the next person decide what kind of yurt to purchase.

Thanks!

Bump!!! Any update on your yurt? Noob here, would like to look and hopefully buy locally. WV, VA, MD, PA...trying to get my 'ducks in a row' for Spring. This is an excellent and informative forum, thanks for having/hosting it.

Thanks!!

Hi Rick-
We are in our yurt and so glad. I'm not really computer savvy and have been meaning to post yurt photos forever!! But I don't know how... My daughter posted a video and photos of the construction and raising on a blog she had. I think you'll find it really helpful. The inside settling in is not documented yet but that's next....

Great movie on your set up i liked the radiant heat in the slab. Because it should be constant heat once you get it up to temp it should be warm and cozy.
