Form with 3/8 rebar reinforcement. Bin with perlite & expanded shale aggregate for a lightweight yet reasonably strong concrete.
Cinder blocks sitting on leveled sand.
Heater core showing air distribution & spaces between firebox/outside.
Heater core first course (cement board on top of lightweight concrete on top of 12 ga sheet of steel on top of cinder blocks on top of leveling sand).
