At the time there was not a lot of info out there about yurts other than what manufacturers were saying about their own stock. I went with PY at the time because I could find the most information about them from actual owners.

Since I started Yurt Forum, I have heard from a plethora of different owners and builders. If I had to make that decision today it would almost be harder than it was before lol. There are many good manufacturers out there. I still think

Pacific Yurts

went above and beyond the call of duty with me. If I had to do it all over again I would probably go with them because they treated me so well.

When I buy ANOTHER yurt, it will be from a different manufacturer not because of anything against PY, but because I want to experience them all. In fact, I look at it as a personal goal to one day own a yurt from each manufacturer. This Spring I am probably going to get one from

Surely Yurts

for example. It will be my "bath yurt".
