Also, I suggest you anchor that fan on a base that is as solid as you can make it. The fans at work were frequently mounted on the bottom of a box ridge beam I built in the great room. I fully blocked the interior of the beam at the fan location so that they wouldn't wobble in use. A large fan in the size you are wanting to install might be prone to wobbling if it's a bit out of balance. Just sayin'.
