Building a deck with yurt platform

We are building a 30x34' deck for my new 24' yurt. The

call for 20 piers to support the platform. We are thinking there might be a way to incorporate deck and

yurt platform

with beam and joist structure using less piers. The sizing of beams and joists is where we would need an engineer or architects input.
Anyone have any ideas? What are the aspects to think about in this. The piers should be relatively short, 12"-40".

No drawings no site photos, etc. So it beats me what you are talking about.

If this is being inspected, yes you do need engineering. If this is an off grid, no bank involved situation, you need a competent lead carpenter to advise you. Good luck.
