Might weigh a little less, but I doubt the weight savings is really that much in comparison to modern lattice yurts. A traditional ger with felt, sure but a modern lattice and canvas, not too likely...

Hard to imagine plywood panels being lighter weight than lattice. Maybe due to not having the extra canvas to cover the walls?
Definitely not as attractive as a lattice and canvas yurt.
