Been using the Joseph Jenkins 5 Gallon bucket system for 15 years.....I occasionally will use the tree-fall pine needles/oak leaves that surround us for "cover material.." usually I lug bags of salt...

as winter is coming ON in New England ....and Sweden...as well....ALL should know that an Outdoor Outhouse seat made of rigid Insulation foam 1" or 2"....( I made mine from a discarded Ocean riding...

I re-iterate My actually much simpler TIMBERLOCK fastened "four corners"/4 Directions( - of a round yurt....no less.....) approach.....also visible....is My approach to the FLAP......I have used this...

I gather seaweeds.....I like the black papery eel grass......nothing too thick and pokey.....carry it back in bags from the shoreline.....and use a handful for every "flush"....keep it...
