    After reading that Bob, I am really glad I bought a pre-fab lol. I am great at writing code, but if I actually had to build that, I would have to settle for a mud hut. :)

    Talk to your local agent, they will be your best bet in finding a company. Midrox is the company that insured mine. Do they insure in Alaska? I have no idea, but your agent does.

    Various manufacturers will sell you just the dome, such as Pacific Yurts, Colorado Yurts, etc.. These people also deal in domes directly so will probably save you some $$: EZ Tops World Wide...
