Default The 'Whatever' Thread

Just figured I would start a small chit-chat post. Nothing specific here, just shooting the breeze.

Right now I am up at camp, tethering the net through my android phone and barely have a signal. I have the wood stove going and am watching a light snow fall. It was a long day hunting and all the deer seem bedded down or are otherwise nowhere to be seen.

I have a corned beef stewing in a cast iron dutch oven, along with some potatoes and carrots and herbs. It has been slow cooking for the last few hours and it smells wonderful in here.

I am about ready to sit down with a cold old and enjoy dinner. I really love the time I get to spend up here!

One thing I noticed over the last weekend at the yurt is, when the snow slides off the roof, it sounds like a giant zipper.. LOL.. Things you notice!

The first time I heard that last winter was in the middle of the night-- scared the day lights out of me till I realized what it was
