Exterior protective coating recommendations for PVC.

Does anyone spray vinyl protective coatings on their PVC yurt exteriors? I.e. silicone based? We're in New Zealand and get a lot of sun, wind, and rain where we are.

Also, the kids have caused some dirt and scratches around the walls and I'd like to spray some kind of protection over these areas since I wonder if all the scrubbing probably weakened the fabric or plasticizers.

We have a CYC yurt.
