Default Platform a bit to big. Beams and blocking are a couple inches past 30 foot circle.

We made the

yurt platform

a bit to big it seems. In a few spots the beams and perimeter blocking are sticking a couple inches passed where the circle needs to be cut. Any help would greatly be appreciated. How much play room is there when fitting the canvas over the drip edge? We thought about cutting the beams a bit and cutting or possibbly moving the perimeter blocking back a bit.

If you got a manufactured yurt from one of the bigger companies then the diameter of the platform is typically very important. It doesn't seem like it until you figure circumference, then consider that the roof is typically cut very precisely as are the walls. My advice would be to cut the beams back. Get it right now or you will have a can of worms pretty quickly.
