Have had a look on this stove - looks good too, but 4,410 bucks are not really an occasion.... :D

Since last week I´m in discussion with an Russian manufacturer and they think about the development of an passive "Add-on-catalyst-filter-system" which should fit to most of their existing models. :cool:

I´ll keep you updated about....

Is it a catalytic stove? I use one called the Ideal Steel stove that gives me long burns when I engage the catalyst:

Wow, found just what I was looking for! Jafo, I'm looking at the Ideal Steel myself and have been trying to figure out if it's too big. How is yours working? The manufacturer keeps telling me it's "way too big and I'll gunk it up by running it too low" but my calcs for a 30' with ecofoil insulation keep saying it's a good size.

Biggest concern is really transitions in seasons, where it's getting cold enough outside that you'd like a fire but you're trying to get from 40F to 70F...not survive -20F
