Recently I hosted a five day workshop where participants camped out in yurts. During this time we used hands on training to learn yurt building skills. This included all meals that were prepared in our campsite in Yosemite. After this workshop everyone left with the ability to build a complete yurt. I am planing another workshop in the High Sierras but have not set a date or location yet.

I haven't set a date yet but if you have a time that works for you I may be able to accommodate. Sharing yurt building skills is high on my list of things to do.
 
I'd have to plan about a year in advance, trips across the ocean take a lot of planning and $$. Might be interesting to host the next World Yurt Maker's Conference around this sort of thing...
 
I will be on the big Island in October. I need to check the exact date. It will only be for one day. Will visit three islands all together.
 
Cool, but why such a short time?! There is so much to see on this island, it has the most diversity to see out of any. Check us out if you have time, we are right on the only road to the active volcano, HWY 11. :D
 
I will be stopping while on a cruse ship and only have one day on the Big Island :confused: Need to spend it with my better half (our vacation).
 
I see, of course! I bet you'll both have a blast~ Well, if you're heading to the Volcano and want to swing in for a quick visit, let us know.
