If you do an internet search on Construction of a yurt by Monica cello you will find a plan she made for the s.c.a. not to hard to follow i just recommend a second rope 3 inches down from the roof ring to keep the roof from inverting and 2 support poles in heavy snow areas.
 
Some of the best plans you can get are the ones that Bill Coperthwaite provided from his foundation. I believe the cost is very affordable and you can get them from Mike Lacoma who is one of the people left in charge of his Domes after his passing.
