International Thermal Research has been building non-powered gravity fed diesel space heaters for various industries including the military for over 20 years. We are looking for someone who has a yurt in cold climates and would like to assist us in promoting our heaters in the Yurt Market. What I am proposing is that I have a demo unit that I will supply to the lucky recipient in return for pictures, editorials and feedback. I'll be taking in submissions on you think you should be the one receiving the unit. It will require a roof exhaust and diesel to operate. Let me know the size of your yurt and any other details in which you think you are better suited for dry radiant heat. Just PM me, our website is International Thermal Research | Advanced Diesel Heating & Hot Water Solutions.

Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Ron.

I would have given this a go until I read the part about roof exhaust. Many of the major manufacturers have warranty's on their roofs which also become voided if you modify them in any way. Is there no way to side vent?

Yes, the heater can be side wall vented. This will cause some restrictions in the exhaust which can be made up by extending the exhaust pipe. Whoever we decide on, we will need to know details so we can provide the necessary parts for proper installation.
