Is there a way to determine a yurt’s manufacturer? The current owner is not the person who bought the kit & built the yurt. She bought it years ago & has no way to contact the original owner/builder. The dome / skylight may need to be replaced before winter, but she has no idea which company to contact. I haven’t seen any obvious labeling, but I haven’t done a thorough search.

I can take some, but what structural details are likely to be useful? Am guessing the skylight? Maybe the way the lattice is attached?
Sorry - I clearly know very little about yurts aside from this older one.
 
The center ring and the dome. The front door and the windows. The rafters too. A shot from the outside might help too..

It looks like you have those long, pull up windows but need better pics. If so, could be a colorado yurt or a Rainer.
 
Hope these additional photos help. The yurt’s been used as a rental for several years, & hasn’t had a lot of TLC.

Looking at your pictures here, I'm afraid I do not have any idea who may have manufactured it. Others may have an idea.
 
the frame and roof is like early 2000 version from Yurts of America. The 3 layer ring and bullnosed rafters is one of our trade marks.

It took me a second to notice behind the window photo there was another outer wall there.

It is a Yurts of America yurt from around 2000 - 2004. It's great to see that it's still going strong. Though the current outer wall isn't ours.

I’m still learning how to navigate this forum - got your PM & replied before I saw this post.
I think what looks like another wall behind the green wall in the window picture is the blanket that’s hung behind the screen to reduce the wind coming through the open window. There’s only 1 “layer”of outer wall. Since we can’t contact the original owner / builder, not sure where the walll came from if not purchased from you, but based on some of the non-kit “interesting” construction details, like the front steps, I shouldn’t be surprised by anything that’s, shall we say, non-standard.

looks like one of ours, the only reason Im not 100% is the outwall, the window doesn't match our old design, so maybe the old owners got a new wall from someone else

Definitely a Great American/Yurts of America yurt - Back when Yurts of America was called Great American Yurts. It looks more like circa 2006 to me, that's when we worked with them for a bit. They're easy to spot because it was before they were doing domes, so you have that central cross piece that holds up a soft cover over the compression ring. No one else has done that in what I've seen. The doors are very recognizable too, they did a curved header and a frame, then that separate vinyl door with the small panes would be installed into the frame at the very end. Those years had some issues with corkscrewing, where the ring would spin and the rafters could come out of the ring. I'd recommend taking a good look at that and fixing it asap if it is occurring there. Had one of those come down on me and a crew. Luckily no one was majorly hurt. Yurts of America has corrected those issues in their designs today. From what I hear they're doing a pretty good yurt these days.

I got word that Yurts of America is no longer in business as of late last year. Are you still building any yurts at all, Ken? For SCA or anything? Hope you're well.
