Storing guns in yurts

How do guns withstand yurt living? I mean with the possible condensation, air moisture and such. In a regular tent, guns tend to rust easily (esp. muzzleloaders with untreated steel surfaces - plenty experience from reenacting). I won't have my gunsafe and all my guns in the yurt, but surely want to keep one or two there with me.
Luckily, most of my modern long guns have chromed bore (except the Yugo AK) and some sort of surface treatment, but I also have muzzleloaders that I wanted to have there for the rustic feeling and I'm worried about them.

I have an old wooden gun safe I use up at my yurt camp, but I only keep guns in it when I am there. The only pic I have of it is in this pano shot:

You can see it on the left side of the right window. If I was worried about moisture, I would just keep one of those boil in a bag rice bags in there. I would imagine that would handle any moisture. Also, keeping your guns well oiled should also mitigate any corrosion.

Sure, oiling is fine, but I don't like my "ready" or carry guns overoiled.
Guess I'll just have to try it in my local conditions and see.

You don't have to over oil them, just make sure there is a thin layer, especially in the bore. As long as the oil penetrates and fills the pores, that is all you ever really need.

I keep all my weapons in my yurt and I live in it year round. I have a few that have a tendency to try and rust and I've found that if you put them in those silicone sleeves there is no problem at all. You can get the sleeves at Wally World for less than ten bucks each.

Clean after use and oil them. Wipe down with oil cloth. Treat as any fine firearm after a day afield and they will be fine. I use TC 'bore butter' on my Green Mountain ball barrel. The rest of my MZ rifle is rust browned so I don't care about cosmetic rust. *Note* I live in a dry climate so I don't have to deal with rust issues as a rule, unless I've been out afield when it is wet, or hunting in a humid climate. Clean and oil keeps rust at bay.

I do clean and oil guns after use and for storing, but I know how himid can the climate there be. Well, what can I do, I'll live there anyway. Will try a bit more oiling and hope it's enought to keep them protected.
