Rain catchment systems?

Hi there yurt dweller friends! We are looking to add a DIY rain catchment system to our yurt, has anyone here added their own? Any suggestions, ideas? Thank you!

I have not other than setting rain barrels on either side of the rain diverter over the front door. We were talking about this before, I would think one around the drip edge might work!

Hi,

I noticed in another post that you have got a traditional building for your outhouse. It may be easier to put a gutter off the back end of that into a rainwater barrel and then pump it from there into a holding tank in your yurt with a 12V marine pump.

If you want to catch rainwater off your yurt you could build a gutter to the curve of the yurt wall at the base of it.
