Need advice about attaching a structure (breezeway, addition, etc) to a yurt

Does anyone have any experience building an addition to a yurt, or attaching two yurts? We are looking to add an addition to the yurt, but attaching to the yurt seems tricky.

How is this connection made and not affect rain and snow shed off the yurt roof? Thoughts?
