I've had the idea to buy a piece of land in Los Angeles and living the Off the Grid lifestyle for awhile. Problem is, I've never stayed in a yurt let a lone lived in one.
The Expereiment:
Purchase a smaller Yurt (placing it on the land beside my family home)
And testing my Off the Grid living.
That way I can get a feel for such things as water usage/solar usage and such.
Please feel free to discuss anything here, I'm a complete newbie!
