Hey LD,

I am in Mason County and I can tell you that they are fairly yurt friendly. Yurts in Mason are considered a semi-permanent structure and do not require a permit. However anything you do inside does require a permit.

I imagine that the two counties are similar but I would still call and ask.

Thanks for that gem of info! I"ll def look to see if there are yurters in Mason to chat with. I'd love to have a beach yurt in neighboring Grays Harbor!
