First Night

Well that was an interesting night. I got a lot of little things done and enjoyed my stay. It sure did get cold (about 40 degrees) especially since I haven't installed a wood stove yet..
It started to rain around 8-9pm and continued for the rest of the night. Nothing like rain landing on the yurt roof.. It put me to sleep pretty quick. The howling of the coyotes woke me up a couple times.. What a spooky yet beautiful sound that is.
Can't wait until next time (bringing some heat though!).

I am going to borrow a kerosene heater from my aunt. She has one in her garage that has been used like 10 times and then never again.. A cousin of mine who lives in Mass has a wood stove he will give me for nothing.. He will be coming up in another month or so, so I see no need in buying one. I will just use that heater until I get the stove.. Summer is coming anyway..
