F.Domes as alternative to yurt?

So in researching using yurts specifically for New England winters I came across the F.domes project in Quebec, Domes Charlevoix fdomes.com/domes-charlevoix

It has what I was aiming for - a slightly more luxury feel than some of the yurts that are more rustic. It may be a little too industrial in style for my taste though. Has anyone looked into these or stayed in and how would you compare? Looks basically like a steel yurt.

I assume they tend to be more expensive; however might be slightly easier to setup? Platform would seem to be able to be largely identical. They perhaps standup better to snowloads/wind? Steel vs. wood. Slightly less volume per sqft because its a semi-spehere as opposed to a cylinder with a dome top. I like that some of the domes have big "windows". I guess you can't use conventional doors/windows (say from HomeDepot) on a steel dome but I am not sure.

we have a little over 120 years with domes, thousands with yurt, you have to know which post goes into which socket or you screw your dome and have found the wrong post and correct it, but you can build a dome from the top down, yurt have been known to survive tornado, and a dome survived the atomic blast in japan , what ever you do to a yurt you can do to a dome, they also have yome, the wall of a yurt, and a dome ontop yurts are easer to put up by a long shot, but a little historey and I have never seen this or done it, but originally the top of a yurt was a tipi , I seen it in pictures, and read about it never seen it in real life, or done myself has anyone else seen or maybe done this
