Default Flexible solar panels on roof

I am wondering if anyone has tried mounting flexible solar panels to the roof of their yurt. My yurt is in the trees and it is hard to find a good location for installing standard panels. However, the roof gets pretty good exposure. I was looking at something like this - https://www.renogy.com/100-watt-12-v...e-solar-panel/

Flexible PV panels could be adhered directly onto the yurt's top cover, but It might be better to adhere some grommeted strips of fabric onto the top cover so that you can fasten the PV panel to them using cable ties (zip ties) through the grommets. This allows you to replace the yurt's top cover or the PV panel independently of one another.

Yes, some people have tried mounting flexible solar panels to the roof of their yurt. The main factor to consider is the weight of the flexible solar panel, which may be too much for your roof to handle. You also need to consider the wind load the panel will create, as this could cause the roof to collapse. In addition, you will need to make sure the roof is properly sealed and secure to prevent any water leakage. Finally, you may need to purchase a mounting system to securely attach the solar panel to your roof.
