I know domes have been talked about a lot, but I have one more question. Any suggestions on how tall folks like their dome? I am planning to have one made for my yurt project and need to specify height. 10" a good height for the acrylic dome? thanks!

Hi yurters! Any advice for great door plans? Building a wood door and door frame from scratch and having a hard time figuring out just how the walls connect to the wooden door area. Seems like a weird transition. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks.

Hi Yurters. Anyone have any thoughts about one building a very large door frame as part of a yurt? I am building a 20' yurt and want the door area to be about 7' wide and 5' high. When finished the idea is to have a 'normal' door with a double door option or a space to have a standard window...
