Wow, great progress!

In the following photo it looks like the lattice wall is slightly tilted in. Is that just a funny perspective from the image or does it lean in a little until you get the whole roof and outer cover on it?

I think it is a combination of the perspective and a lousy camera phone. My good camera decided to melt one day, at least I assume that's what it was doing when smoke started to come out of it; so this is all I got right now lol..

The hardest part so far was getting that

center ring

high and stable enough to put rafters in. You can't just go pushing the ring around or you could knock the guy on the scaffolding down, or pull out existing rafters.. After you get the first 3-4 in there, then it goes real smooth.. The only reason we stopped there is because I had to pick up my daughter from the babysitters otherwise we would have put them all in yesterday..

Today we push to finish (before it rains lol)!

That looks just amazing and puts the tent down the hill to shame!

We didn't want anyone taking tools from the site, even though it was VERY remote. So I put that tent up so it looked like someone was staying there lol..

Default Yurt!!

Jafo!

Beautiful yurt! Did you insulate the deck? How? Is this a full time residence? Do you have a stove? perimiter or central?
