Default actually durolast roof warranty.?

greetings from NM.

I have a

durolast

roof for a 27' colorado yurt...still has about 7yrs warrant left.

issue is the facia loops and inner band skin are coming appart and unthreaded . i would assume from the Sun.

If i were dealing with an issue like this ,say for instance my aire boat. once it delaminated and split were it was sewn. bottom line is they replace the whole boat. no questions. their 10 yrs warranty is great..

are the folks in saginaw mi. cool like that or should i send it to cyc for repair?

thx

I would contact CY first and just go through the proper channels and see what they say. If anyone has experience with it, it would be them.

Colorado is well known for being a great company to work with. I'd say contact them, as they are the only experts on their product. To work with someone else could void the rest of your warranty needlessly.

That said, it sounds like a decent fix would be to install grommets where this is happening on the wall and run new poly rope loops through. I am trying to figure out if I have the right picture in my head but keep getting stumped when I try to figure out how sun damage might have occured to the section I am talking about... Is it the loops at the top of the wall that run through the seatbelt band And attach to the roof? Isn't there a valance that comes down and covers all that?
