Dome?

Is there any kind of dome or coverings that goes over the center ring to your yurts?
 
My yurts do not use a dome, but instead use a flat double wall Lexan skylight design. Because Clean Air Yurts are designed to be ultra portable and lightweight, a dome would take up too much space and bulk to pack efficiently. Ever tried to put a 3' dome inside of a standard car seat or in a trunk? Not to mention the weight of the domes.

Now domes are perfect for yurts that see heavy snow and are permanent, but our yurts are made to be light and easy to setup and transport, so the flat skylight design is the perfect fit.
 
Do you have any pics of the double wall Lexan skylight? Sounds interesting. :)

This shows the flat plate. It is mounted on brackets that allow it to be raised for ventilation but still have full coverage from rain, or mounted tight against the roof to seal in heat and seal out rain.
 
Yeah man, you can't just leave us with that vague pic lol.. Need to see more on how that operates!! Looks pretty damn cool.
