I just realized my phrasing was off with that...

I just realized my phrasing was off with that response. You should stay away from fabrics that are susceptible to mildew, but you should get fabric that is washable and has fire resistance.

The reflective insulation used is 5/16" of an inch thick and does indeed have foil on both sides. As long as your felt is dry you could continue to use it, but I would install your liner fabric...
