Oh, I also have a 6 ft sapling staff that I put through the crown ring support posts (not usually present in modern-style yurts). I use it for drying towels or laundry on clothes hangars and such.

A tall bed, like 3+ ft, is really useful. Dressers & storage boxes, even a dog kennel/crate can go under it. I've 6 ft walls, and there's plenty of head space, only slightly cramped near the wall...
