I would not be building the crown from bamboo. I was going to copy Bobs plan with the crown which is built by plywood and 2x4's but instead of his suggestion which would be 36 inches i would like a 4...

Yea I will be living in it full time how big is your yurt? And does it have rafters every horse head? Or is it more the Colorado yurt design with rafters resting on the tention cable every other? My...

Hey thanks for the response! I actually live in an area with heavy snow load... Do you think it would have bad structural property's? Another issue is I do not have much experience with bamboo.....
