Some ideas: insulate the barrel, and keep some energy overnight, pulls your shower-season wider. And insulate it well!

Interesting observation you got there. Without further details, I would assume it to be because you had a fatty layer of grub on there. Water and fats don't go together so well.

For our Dutch/European yurt stuff we use www.nooitmeerhaast.nl, the Mongolian side is named Euro-yurts home (http://www.euro-yurts.com).

I also built a near-Passive House in the meantime, so I look at these problems with a more educated eye.

Venting will help, but it is near-impossible to totally vent the bottom side of the walls,...

Sealing the whole thing in PVC will make is worse.
Get rid of the PVC roof, cover the whole thing in vapor-open home-wrap, and then add a nice outer cover which is both breathing and leaking. Pure...

We dont sell domes, sorry, I dont know where you got that information.
We make and sell only Mongolian style yurts, with wool felt, one door, etc.
