The old sips had a bunch of rotten OSB. that is why they needed repairs. Got that fixed splines attached, perimeter kirfing installed with story strip! We decided on a finished plywood flooring. Next...

Thanks Bob, happy with it so far. Now its time to get a little crafty trying to repair the OSB and foam in the SIPS.

Making progress! Platform base is complete. Dig holes to around 24” deep and filled with roadbase and then compacted. It set like concrete. Then pulled out all the SIPS panels to start fixing them....

thanks bob, getting excited. platform is getting started on thurs. hired a carpenter friend and his 15 year old sidekick to dick some holes and pack some gravel.

@jafo just checking. first yurt project and I don't want to get in over my head.

I am buying the center ring. Cable is great, is that an expensive component?

What do you think about those SIPS?...
