Wood siding and metal roof

My husband and I thought we may side our yurt with cedar or pine and cover it with a metal roof potentially. Then it would match our house that it is attached to.

I have heard that is possible. We attached our yurt to our house! So far so good. It was done by two carpenters from our building company.

We tried a propane fireplace at first and it was SO expensive that we swapped it out for a wood stove.
