on doing some research on van rentals (the way i planning to move yurt). the weight limit seems to usualy pan out around 1000kg (~1 ton / 2200 lbs).

roughly speaking, how much is a 6M yurt likely...

I'm considering the possibility of putting together a wooden floor/decking that can be transported with a 6M yurt.
trying to figure out if its feasible or not.

just thinking, one aspect that might effect the water tightness (if glued) might be the process of packing and unpacking, rolling and unrolling.

glued joints (of any kind) are not really designed...

if you did use a sewing machine, be sure to use a composite thread of both plastic/cotton thread.

just plastic thread will cut through the cover creating tiny holes along seams, just cotton thread...

ah ok so white is likely to stay cooler in hot sun. i noticed that i keep wanting to reach for a white shirt on a hot/sunny day.
