Re: Roof repair / vinyl to vinyl damage

you might look at EPDM RV roof product. we used it on our food truck roof. It is expensive , and comes in gallon or 5 gallon containers , with a catalyst. it is pretty good , from our experience

Re: Yurts and energy consumption (Firewood)

Re: Did you curve your countertop to fit the wall?

I don’t particularly like a counter in the yurt against the wall, as I like to be facing people in the interior. I build shelves on the outside wall for food. Dishes, etc. So, i put an island...

Re: Rigid Foam insulation and Drywall

Re: Rigid Foam insulation and Drywall

I think i would remove all of the vinyl cladding first , as that would be the mold culprit. Mill strapping to 1/2 thick, and install around the lattice work horizontally every 16”, screw thin...

Re: Rigid foam insulation against lathe / canvas

I agree with Jafo, regarding largest wood stove. I believe the frost line will move inside the yurt to the lattice on cold cold days, So it seems that you need to be able to ventilate that space . ...

Re: Yurt sizes.....16 vs 20 ft or?

I have a 24’ yurt, and am happy with that size, so 16’ gives me a headache. But, I think some Yurt Manufacturers have a taller wall option that gives you more room for a loft? I think most Yurt...
