Colorado Yurts Airing on How It's Made
 

According to their Facebook page, Colorado Yurts will be featured in an episode of How It's Made on The Science Channel. The date is November 29th, 9pm ET.

This is great because I always record this series anyway lol!

The program airing in November is about our tipis. In December, the yurt segment will air.

Here are the details:
The segment on Tepees will be airing on the Science Channel in the US on:
Thursday, November 29th at 9:00pm ET.

AND

The segment on Yurts will be airing on the Science Channel in the US on:
Sunday, December 30th at 9:00pm ET.

Sweetness! Hopefully I can find the 'How it's made' episode on the web. Don't have TV.

Updated schedule for the tipi episode: Now will be 12/6/12 at 9pm Eastern on Science Channel.

Props to CYC for setting a great example in the yurt community :D We are looking forward to watching the show!

I watched the Tipi episode. Awesome. I would love to get one of those one of these days. You really got to see how much work went into making one. Good job!

Tonight is the airing of the yurts! :)

I watched this last night. It was pretty informative, but I bet there is a lot more to it than what they showed. I guess you can't fit it all in a 6 minute spot. Good job!

I saw this episode and it clicked in my mind.

I've been thinking of moving back by my parents. They live on 50 acres or so, and are getting elderly. I don't know if I can stand to live with them full time, so I have been thinking about something semi-permanent. I think it may be a yurt :)
