Built on nine telephone poles, eight around, one central, aligned to the cardinal directions; my recent creation is 24 ft in diameter, has an eight foot oak dome, split in the cardinal directions and inspired by traditional Ger style. The interior has a loft with three pie shaped bedrooms for my kids, a kitchen below half of the loft and my bedroom below the other half of the loft. The construction is a plywood wall with treated local milled 1" siding, many windows to be able to "be" in the beautiful surroundings beside Upper Lough Erne, where I look out onto. The roof is traditional Ger built, dome, rafters, set to top of the yurt wall, etc.The interior walls and roof are insulated with sheep wool insulation felted to 4" (roof) & 2" walls. The interior of the walls and the room division is all sheetrock/rock wall, which is finished with hemp lime, both insulative and attractive adobe style finish. Not sure how to add pics??? I see I can select an album, but how do I create and album?
